Student Scholarships

The organizing committee of RAID 2007 is pleased to announce the availability of funds to support student travel and registration to attend this year's symposium. Students awarded funding can expect up to AUD1500 to offset reasonable expenses associated with attendance. Money is available for students from both Australian and international institutions.

Awards will be given based on several factors, including, in descending order of emphasis, a) student author presenting at the conference, b) economic need, and c) seniority of the student. To apply, the student's adviser should send a short statement of the student's progress toward graduation, student's research areas related to RAID, and economic need to:

by July 30th. Notification of application outcomes will be made by August 4th. Late applications will be considered after that date if there are still unallocated funds available.
