How to reach Hamburg

Hamburg International Airport (Fuhlsbüttel), located in the north-west of Hamburg, is a major hub for connections to most of the european metropolises. The city centre can easily be reached by public transport.
Ryan Air flights depart at Lübeck Airport, ca 60 km north of Hamburg. There is a nonstop bus shuttle available to and fro Lübeck Airport and the central bus terminal (ZOB), Hamburg.
The closest railway station to the RAID 2006 congress location is Hamburg Dammtor. Several hotels are located in the vicinity (more information will follow).

How to reach the congress location

RAID 2006 is held at the University of Hamburg's main building "Edmund Siemers Allee 1". A map of the conference location can be found here: small version, big version.
The closest train and bus stop is at Dammtor station. Bus lines 4, 5, 109 and S-Bahn (subway) lines S11, S21, and S31 stop at Dammtor. For detailed connections to the main building of the University of Hamburg consult the online timetable of the HVV.
