RAID 2006

RAID 2006 takes place in the main building of the University of Hamburg, "Edmund Siemers Allee 1", in the very centre of Hamburg.

Call for Participation

The RAID symposium, the ninth in an annual series, is the world's premier intrusion detection technology forum. It brings together leading researchers and practitioners from academia, government, and industry to discuss issues and technologies related to intrusion detection and defense. The RAID International Symposium series is intended to further advances in intrusion defense by promoting the exchange of ideas in a broad range of topics.
This year, the RAID program includes sixteen full presentations selected from almost 100 submissions, with proceedings published by Springer. The program also includes invited speakers and a poster session.
The RAID organizing committee calls for the participation of the global IT security professional and research communities.

Registration and student scholarships

A limited number of student scholarships has been made available by the Northwest Security Institute (NWSI). Selected students will be awarded a fixed monetary amount for travel and lodging expenses, and waived the conference registration fee. Preference will be given to students with accepted papers in the conference, but others may be eligible as well. To apply, please send by email a short description of your background and interest for attending RAID to the program chair.
Deadline for student scholarship applications: July 30th, 2006.
Notification of scholarships granted: August 4th, 2006.
